The Levy Academy
The Levy Academy offers self-paced, flexible, research-based, and evidence-aligned courses that strengthen your educational advocacy practice, build your professional learning, and help you create meaningful outcomes for students and families.
Rooted in The Levy Way, these courses were co-created and designed through the vision and leadership of Christine Levy, M. Ed. Founder, CEO,and Thought Leader, and are led by Stacey Souza, M. Ed. Lead Advocate, Master Advocacy Educator & Mentor. Our learning approach combines expertise with empathy—bridging research, practice, and systems thinking to drive meaningful change for children, families, and educators.

For Parents and Guardians
We know that parents/caregivers are at all different stages of navigating this process. Our courses are designed to meet you where you are and support you throughout the process. While our courses are not designed to be taken in any particular order, parents of younger children, just beginning their education journey, may benefit from the following sequence: Foundations in Advocacy, Advocacy with Impact, Implementing MTSS, and Neuropsychological Evaluations. Parents of older children, please refer to the course selection guide to help choose the best course for you at this time.
Foundations of Advocacy:
Communication and Connection
In this six-week self-paced course, you’ll learn simple, practical ways to communicate with your child’s school and take an active role in their learning.
Implementing MTSS:
Data-Driven Strategies for Student Success
In this six-week self-paced course, educators, support teams, families, and school leaders can learn a simple, clear way to understand and use school support systems.
Advocacy with Impact:
Strategic Skills for Families & Professionals
In this six-week self-paced course, you’ll gain a plain-language introduction to how schools help student – like MTSS, 504 plans, and IEPs – so you know what to expect and how to take part.
Neuropsychological Evaluations:
Understanding and Implementing Results
In this six-week self-paced course, you’ll learn how to interpret and apply neuropsychological evaluation results to enhance educational planning and student outcomes.

Courses will run if at least 5 people sign up. Each time slot allows up to 20 people. If your chosen course time is full or has insufficient sign-ups, we’ll help you switch to an alternative date.

You’ll have access to all course materials, the Slack community, and on-demand audio for one week post-completion of the course.

Yes! All scripts, templates, and supporting materials are downloadable so you can use them offline and adapt them for your own needs.

Live sessions are scheduled for Eastern Standard Time. Exact dates and times are provided upon enrollment.

You’ll earn your certificate by completing all course modules and reflections. CEU credit details are outlined in the course terms of service.

No. These courses are designed to empower you with knowledge and strategies, but they don’t replace the personalized support of an advocate for complex or high-stakes situations.

Yes, we believe growth happens through collaboration. Our courses include access to ongoing Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) where participants share insights, problem-solve together, and continue to support one another as they implement new practices.
