About Christine

Christine Levy is a speaker, educator, advocate, and entrepreneur who blends deep expertise with compassion to help families navigate the complexities of education and ensure every child has the supports they need to thrive. With 20+ years in public and independent schools, she has been a classroom teacher at The Hewitt School (NYC), Upper Elementary Coordinator at The Aaron School (NYC), and held district leadership roles in Rhode Island, including Assistant Director of Special Education and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Coordinator.

In 2022, inspired by advocating for her own children, Christine founded Levy Educational Advocacy, a collective dedicated to breaking through barriers and ensuring families access essential educational services. Through Levy Academy, she leads a team of highly experienced advocates, educators, and specialists whose combined expertise spans special education, literacy intervention, and systemic advocacy. Together, they provide families and schools with actionable strategies and individualized guidance to support students with diverse learning needs. Through her own personal journey of healing,

Christine remains a visible voice for invisible disabilities, including PTSD, anxiety, and dyslexia, amplifying the needs of students and families whose challenges are often unseen. The Levy Way is more than a framework; it is a philosophy of advocacy, learning, and collaboration. Grounded in four pillars—Compassion, Expert Knowledge, Connection, and Self-Care—it focuses on people first, community-driven progress, and sustainable advocacy. Christine and her team walk into school meetings, mediations, and boardrooms without flinching, guiding families and schools toward aligned, meaningful outcomes.

Her LEA Expansion

In 2024, Christine expanded her vision by launching the Levy Educational Advocacy Academy, training

a team of specialized advocates to ensure that every student regardless of ability receives the advocacy, support, and opportunities they deserve. This initiative includes the development of the Levy Educational Advocacy Toolkit, a robust resource of strategies, tools, and proven methodologies. Guided by best practices and grounded in state and federal law, the toolkit ensures effective, ethical, and legally sound advocacy. This growing team collaborates with neuropsychologists, mental health professionals, nonprofits, and community organizations to provide comprehensive support. Christine’s work is rooted in building positive, productive partnerships advancing educational equity and systemic change one student at a time.

Christine has established collaborations with the Jonnycake Center, the Down Syndrome Society, and the Hamilton School at Wheeler (RI). She has also appeared on notable podcasts such as Dr. Dan’s Parent Footprint and Coaching with Brooke, sharing insights from her career and advocacy practice.

Today, Christine continues her mission with passion and purpose, helping families overcome barriers, access essential services, and empower their children to achieve their fullest potential. She also offers speaking engagements for parent groups, schools, universities, companies, and ERGs/ERNs, sharing expertise on topics including advocacy, special education, inclusion, systemic change, and practical strategies for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
