Week 3 — September 23: Know the Signs
When Is It Time to Ask for Help?
Not every struggle means something is wrong — but sometimes early signs matter. Using The Levy Way™, you'll learn to move from:
Concern → Observation → Information → Action
We'll explore:
What screening data can — and can't — tell you
Early signs worth paying attention to
Adjustment vs. potential concern
When to ask questions
When to request additional information
When additional support may be appropriate
When an advocate might help
And just as importantly: how to advocate without letting advocacy take over your life.
Is This For You?
This intensive is for parents who:
Have a child with an MTSS intervention plan, IEP, or 504 Plan
Have concerns about learning, attention, executive functioning, behavior, or social-emotional needs
Want a stronger start to the school year
Feel overwhelmed by school information
Want to communicate more confidently with their child's team
Want to be proactive instead of reactive
Aren't sure whether they need an advocate yet
