About Nechama
With over 20 years of experience in education, Nechama Yaffe is a dedicated and passionate educational leader who has devoted her career to serving children and families. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Literature and a Master's degree in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education. She also holds an endorsement in Infant Mental Health and has provided reflective consultation to peers and teachers.
Nechama began her career teaching preschool and kindergarten and moved to early intervention. She has helped families transition to preschool and gain access to community resources. Nechama has provided developmental and coaching support to children and families in homes and schools. She has also provided developmental evaluations to children and families.
Nechama uses reflective practice and active listening with parents and educators. She values the importance of radical respect for children and families and brings these values to her work and advocacy. Nechama places the child at the center of the story. She’s committed to helping parents and educators find the best ways to support the child educationally and developmentally.
